Job Summary:

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for adult and child members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Your expertise will include crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and education on mental health topics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for members with acute or chronic mental health needs.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in staff conferences to discuss member treatment plans and progress.
  • Develop and conduct psychoeducational classes and groups.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and confidential records.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of DSM-V and evidence-based practice.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team.
  • Previous clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention and individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a multidisciplinary clinic.
