Job DescriptionNASC GLOBAL is seeking a seasoned professional to fill a pivotal role in our client's organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled therapist to provide comprehensive mental health services for children and adolescents in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and direct individualized treatment plans for each patient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical treatment plans for children and adolescents with acute or chronic mental health conditions.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions.
  • Participate in staff conferences to plan and evaluate treatment programs.
  • Instruct and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans, compliance with therapeutic regimens, and prescribed medications.
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families to support adherence to treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patients for psychotropic medications within the therapist's scope of practice.
  • Supervise Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage Family Therapists, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors if supervision training is completed.
  • Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries while maintaining confidential records.
  • Ensure treatment and progress documentation is in accordance with state regulations and NCQA standards.
  • Utilize community and agency resources to meet the needs of patients and their families.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental programs.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and safety assessments as needed.
  • Report safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies in compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis.
  • Ability to work onsite 2 days a week.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents.
  • Eligible to see Medicare patients.
