About the Job

The Patient Placement Coordinator RN is responsible for coordinating the placement of all admissions and transfers to Mount Carmel Health System in accordance with clinical standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, prioritize, and optimize patient flow throughout the Mount Carmel Health System network.
  • Coordinate and facilitate patient entry into Mount Carmel Health System from other healthcare facilities or organizations.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • Five years of clinical nursing experience, with previous experience in Critical Care or the Emergency Room desirable.
