About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our 7-acre campus, including 7 buildings that clients and team members use daily. This is a critical role that requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the safety and health of our staff and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Facilities Manager and Operations Director in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and residents
  • Help maintain Our House property, including grounds, buildings, and vehicles
  • Assist in general maintenance on items such as HVAC, grounds equipment, minor plumbing, etc.
  • Report any issues that may arise with buildings and equipment that require major repairs
  • Develop good relationships with department heads and directors to assist with needs that are within your ability
  • Maintain a professional relationship with residents, job trainees, and clients that are receiving our services and working on the facilities team
  • Provide clear communication with staff when action is needed to ensure the environment is safe of hazards
  • Aid in the occasional task of helping direct traffic flow and parking for events that are held on our campus
  • Assist vendors when needed for inspections or repairs to our campus
  • Conduct other duties as assigned to fulfill Our House's mission
Requirements
  • Background in building and grounds maintenance preferred
  • Ability to perform assigned job tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Reliability and punctuality to perform daily duties
  • Willingness to continue learning and growing if opportunities are presented
