Sustainable Environmental Engineer

As a Graduate Environmental Engineer, you'll play a key role in our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line, working alongside senior-level staff to develop your professional skills.

As a member of our global network of skilled engineers, scientists, auditors, planners, and environmental specialists, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from field work to office-based tasks. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil gas, and indoor air
  • Aquifer testing
  • Closure of underground storage tanks
  • Oversight of remedial actions
  • Oversight of geophysical testing

In the office, you may be responsible for:

  • Compilation, review, and interpretation of sampling data
  • Preparation of sections of reports and proposals
  • Subcontractor coordination
  • Summarizing data in tables and figures

To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or Hydrogeology, as well as 0-3 years of experience in contaminated site assessment and remediation projects. You should also be able to travel and perform field work, and have experience with modeling and statistical software is a plus. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER is also a plus.
