The Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance work within the Serenity RCF community, including resident suites and grounds. This position will respond to repair and maintenance requests, supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff, and assign personnel to specific tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and maintain plumbing systems, including toilets, sinks, and drains.
- Replace and clean filters in air-conditioning and heating units, as well as other equipment.
- Repair windows, doors, and other exterior features.
- Perform routine maintenance inspections and ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions are maintained.
- Supervise and schedule maintenance and housekeeping staff.
- Manage departmental expenses and stay within budget.
- Attend departmental meetings and safety meetings.
- Train assigned personnel in proper techniques and use of equipment.
- Serve as backup for maintenance and housekeeping staff.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year minimum of related experience preferred.
- Ability to use tools and equipment to repair and construct.
- Knowledge and ability to work on plumbing systems, electrical systems, and other equipment.
- Good communication skills and ability to effectively communicate in English.
