  3. Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities to enhance patient care and services.
  4. Staff Development: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement staff training programs and education initiatives.
  5. Communication: Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  6. Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and submit reports to the Director of Nursing and other stakeholders as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in New York State
  • At least 5 years of experience in long-term care nursing, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of nursing regulations and industry standards
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 9am-5pm with additional hours as required. You will be expected to work a weekend rotation for supervisory coverage.
