Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Site Mechanical Assembler Nuclear to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will work alongside craft labor crews to complete tasks, identify problems, and implement solutions. Your ability to adapt to changing situations and maintain efficiency will be essential in resolving delays and ensuring quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with craft labor crews to complete tasks, identify problems, and implement solutions.
  • Receive and unload materials, maintain inventory, and package materials for shipments.
  • Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions to assemble equipment and products.
  • Rework and repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
  • Identify material defects and document them accordingly.
  • Organize tools and containers to ensure site safety and efficiency.
  • Assist in rigging activities and maintain strong communication with the project team.
  • Maintain company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets in a safe and proper working order.
  • Follow established quality standards, safety rules, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in welding and fabrication of large assemblies.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to work at elevations and varied overtime.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home for extended periods.
  • Team-oriented, solutions-driven, customer-focused, and self-starting individual.
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field is a plus. Five to ten years' experience in the assembly of material handling equipment is preferred.

Travel:

Overnight and extended travel to construction or customer locations may be required, with an expected travel percentage of 10-20%.
