Job Title: Field Service Technician Nuclear

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician Nuclear to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC. As a Field Service Technician Nuclear, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs, modernization, and installation activities on electric overhead traveling cranes at a nuclear power plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs, modernization, and installation activities on electric overhead traveling cranes at a nuclear power plant.
  • Conduct extensive on-site mechanical troubleshooting to determine cause for equipment malfunction and establish the necessary repairs.
  • Document findings and make corrective recommendations to the home office.
  • Complete service reports and other required documents in a professional and accurate manner.
  • Maintain regular communication with the service office and Service Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • An Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience is a plus.
  • One to three years of experience involving overhead cranes, installations, mechanical work.
  • Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license.
  • Must be willing and able to work at elevations and pass background checks required to gain access to nuclear power plants and secure government facilities.
