Nurse Navigator Service in the Department of Veterans Affairs:

This role involves providing and supervising direct patient care, working closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver clinical and procedural care for surgical patients. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on age-specific components.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of individual characteristics, including age and life stages, state of health, race, culture, values, and previous experiences. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and influencing care outcomes.

  • A competitive salary: $**75,000 - $110,000 per year**, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Paid Time Off: 50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year).

As a VA Nurse, you'll enjoy a comprehensive total rewards package, featuring a traditional federal pension plan (5-year vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA. Licensure requirements include one full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory. This is a Monday-Friday role, with no telework options available.
