Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Southeast Primary Care Partners. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering top-notch medical services.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with patient care activities, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and recording health history.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling phone calls.
  • Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment by maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting colleagues as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with medical terminology, procedures, and policies to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assistant certification program at time of hire (with certification), or within 180 days of employment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Maintain MA and CPR certifications (and actions required for recertifications) (CPR within 30 days of employment).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
