Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing staff consisting of Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.

  • Provide quality-assured customer service excellence.
  • Augment club management and provide backup support to the franchise as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Onboarding, scheduling, training, and supervising staff.
  • Member service oversight - ensuring staff replicates a superior customer experience at all times.
  • Conflict resolution.
  • Involved in all front desk-related activities, including:
    • Answering phones in a friendly manner and engaging with callers.
    • Greeting and validating members.
    • New member enrollment and account maintenance.
    • Providing prospective members with tours.
    • Facilitating member requests, issues, and questions.
  • Assisting in overseeing cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
  • Assisting in ordering supplies based on club requirements.
  • Qualitative and quantitative assessment via statistics and reports.
  • Backup support for any employee who is absent.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
  • Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness, preferred.
  • Solid supervisory, diplomacy, and listening skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
  • Hard working, enthusiastic, and energetic.
  • Strong problem resolution skills.
  • Current CPR Certification recommended, with sponsorship provided by the employer.
  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Physical Demands
  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
