Position Summary
Sales professionals will be tasked with developing, managing, and nurturing a portfolio of clients within the commercial reroof division. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to the success of Baker Roofing Company.
QualificationsTo excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- Education: High School Diploma required; College education preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year in a related sales role.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Salesforce, and estimating software is advantageous.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- A dynamic and engaging personality with a high level of self-confidence.
- A professional demeanor with a motivated attitude.
- Develop and maintain new and existing client accounts.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Ensure ongoing communication and promote the services offered by the company.
- Consult on and specify roofing systems tailored to customer requirements while adhering to industry standards.
- Engage in trade shows, expos, and marketing events to enhance market presence.
- Generate leads for reroof projects through cold calling, referrals, and networking.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM for account management, scheduling, proposal creation, and tracking sales activities.
- Document roof conditions and develop reroof proposals using BOX.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions, and pursue continuing education through manufacturer seminars.
- Assess existing roof conditions and provide necessary support to the operations team.
- Assist with account receivable tasks as directed by management.
- Ability to safely set up and climb ladders to access roofs for evaluation.
- Physical capability to climb, lift, balance, walk, and handle materials.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods.
- Strength to repeatedly use abdominal and lower back muscles without fatigue.
- Visual acuity to see details at close range.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements, including bending, twisting, kneeling, and crouching.
- Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
The role may involve working at construction sites, exposing employees to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
