Operational Support Associate

The Perioperative Support Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the operating room. This position requires collaboration with the surgical team to maintain AORN standards, while also providing exceptional patient care.
Job Responsibilities:- Turnover of ORs and weekly terminal cleaning
- Knowledge of equipment used during surgeries and setup of rooms
- Understanding of Decontamination processes in Central Sterile
- Cleaning and processing of endoscopy scopes
- Instrumentation knowledge for running cases for next day's surgeries
- Specimen collection and delivery to the lab
- BLS Certification (can be obtained upon hire)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous experience in the medical/surgical field preferred
This is a fast-paced position that requires flexibility, with no holidays or weekends. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
