Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in CVICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients requiring advanced life support.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission to CVICU and report any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitor response.
  • Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of CVICU patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Must have a minimum of one year acute care hospital ICU experience.
