We are a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center and a certified Ventricular Assist Device program. Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse CVICU to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year acute care hospital ICU RN experience and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross. The Registered Nurse CVICU will be responsible for assessing patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. They will also perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider, document the administration of care in the patient medical record, and perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical ICU patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • A minimum of one year acute care hospital ICU RN experience
