About the Role
HCA Florida JFK Hospital is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and investing in the latest technology to support our nurses in their work. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical ICU patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- A minimum of one year acute care ICU RN experience.
