To provide high-quality diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, utilizing expertise in cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine, emergent, portable, and surgical examinations in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist patients and transport them as needed.
- Enter data accurately and maintain patient records.
- Restock supplies, clean equipment, and perform quality assurance functions.
- Participate in on-call or standby schedules as required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a related field, or completion of an AMA-approved program and successful certification in ultrasound technology.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certificate within 12 months of hire from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- Sonography Technologist License (Oregon) and Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
- Previous experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Pediatric Echosonography.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and prioritization abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
