SUMMARY

The Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for the effective management of the 3rd shift operations, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and assess performance against operational budgets, ensuring optimal staffing levels and hours worked.
  • Drive initiatives to meet quality standards and operational goals.
  • Conduct audits and reconcile inventory, while identifying opportunities for systematic enhancements.
  • Supervise the order selection process and manage workflow to guarantee timely dispatch of deliveries.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
  • Monitor compliance with regulations including OSHA, FDA, and HACCP.
  • Perform random audits of staff to ensure adherence to established procedures.
  • Facilitate communication across departments regarding operational processes.
  • Collaborate with team supervisors to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Maintain productivity targets within the warehouse, ensuring cleanliness and organization of surrounding areas.
  • Resolve discrepancies prior to impacting subsequent operations.
  • Prioritize the safety of team members and uphold facility cleanliness.

Required Skills:
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience in cold, wet, refrigerated, or freezer environments.
  • Background in the food and beverage industry.
  • Willingness to work shifts exceeding 12 hours, including overnight and Sundays.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Distribution Center Management is preferred.

Preferred Experience:
  • At least five years of supervisory experience in a large, high-volume food distribution center.

Essential Skills:
  • Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Passion for service and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Schedule:
  • 3rd Shift: Night, Sundays through Thursdays, including holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
