SUMMARY

The Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for the operational efficiency and success of the 3rd shift. This role involves direct oversight of daily activities to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and evaluate performance against operational budgets, ensuring effective management of staffing levels and hours worked.
  • Drive initiatives to meet quality benchmarks and operational goals.
  • Conduct audits and inventory reconciliations while pursuing systematic enhancements.
  • Supervise the order selection process and workflow to guarantee timely dispatch of deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor adherence to safety regulations, including OSHA, FDA, and HACCP.
  • Perform random audits of staff to confirm procedural compliance.
  • Facilitate communication across departments regarding operational processes.
  • Collaborate with team supervisors to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Maintain productivity targets and ensure cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding areas.
  • Address and resolve errors prior to impacting subsequent operations.
  • Prioritize the safety of team members and uphold facility cleanliness.

Required Skills:
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience in cold, wet, refrigerated, or freezer environments.
  • Background in the food and beverage industry.
  • Willingness to work shifts exceeding 12 hours, including overnight and weekends.
  • A minimum of 5 years in Distribution Center Management is preferred.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required; a BA/BS degree in logistics, business, industrial engineering, or related fields is a plus.


Preferred Experience:

At least five years of supervisory experience in a large, high-volume food distribution center.
