Role Summary:
The Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for the effective management of operations during the overnight shift. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of warehouse activities, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with the operational budget, focusing on staffing efficiency and labor hours.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at achieving quality benchmarks and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular audits and inventory reconciliations to promote systematic enhancements.
  • Supervise the order selection process to guarantee timely dispatch of deliveries.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA, FDA, and HACCP standards.
  • Perform random audits of staff to verify adherence to established procedures.
  • Facilitate communication across departments regarding operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Maintain productivity targets within the warehouse and ensure cleanliness of the work environment.
  • Resolve discrepancies prior to impacting subsequent operations.
  • Ensure the safety of team members and uphold facility hygiene standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience in cold, wet, refrigerated, or freezer environments.
  • Background in the food and beverage sector.
  • Willingness to work shifts exceeding 12 hours, including overnight and weekends.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Distribution Center Management is preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, industrial engineering, or related fields is advantageous.

Preferred Experience:

  • At least five years of supervisory experience in a high-volume food distribution center.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • A passion for service and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Work Schedule:
3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, including holidays.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
