Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless and efficient surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients prior to surgery, ensuring they understand the procedure and any necessary preparations.
- Apply aseptic technique to maintain a sterile field and assist in procedures or prepping patients for surgery.
- Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure a safe and effective surgical experience.
- Provide exceptional patient care, promoting a positive image of nursing and delivering quality services.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, with a BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification.
- CNOR certification is preferred.
