Position Overview
As a Material Handling Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Conducting repairs and replacements on a wide range of lift truck components.
  • Diagnosing faults and failures in lift trucks to determine the extent of issues.
  • Accessing mechanical components by crawling under equipment.
  • Utilizing various hand tools and pneumatic tools to remove defective parts.
  • Disassembling units to inspect parts for wear and damage.
  • Repairing and rebuilding faulty components and assemblies.
  • Servicing electrical systems and ensuring they function correctly.
  • Inspecting, adjusting, and repairing brake systems.
  • Reading fault codes from displays and downloading necessary software updates.
  • Replacing and adjusting lights, as well as installing and repairing accessories.
  • Testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Performing routine maintenance services, including lubrication and tune-ups.
  • Conducting test drives of forklifts and testing various components.
  • Completing pre-delivery inspections and assembling new forklifts as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), medical, dental, life insurance, flex plan, and short-term disability.

Starting Pay: $27.00/hour, depending on experience

Incentives
A signing bonus of $2,000 will be awarded after the completion of six months of employment.

Position Requirements
Candidates should possess:
  • Strong organizational skills to manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication abilities with customers and management.
  • A minimum of 24 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • The capability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Personal tools necessary for the job.
  • Familiarity with MS Office products is advantageous.
  • A positive attitude when interacting with customers.
  • A commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Forklift certification.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass background checks and DOT/drug tests.
