Job Summary

As a Security Officer with the Texas Dept of Health and Human Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel. Your duties will include monitoring surveillance cameras, conducting routine patrols, and assisting in the apprehension of suspects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor surveillance cameras for unauthorized persons, fires, and unusual occurrences
  • Conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds, taking appropriate action upon discovery of unauthorized persons or activities
  • Assist in the apprehension of suspects and provide support to law enforcement agencies as needed

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Texas driver's license required
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
