Job Summary:

Tantillo Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated and goal-driven Automotive Sales Associate to join our team in Wantagh, New York.

This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the Auto industry, with a competitive salary of $85,000 to $125,000 per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles, while providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet customers, providing a positive and professional first impression.
  • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing new or used vehicles, while showcasing their features and benefits.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with customers to promote repeat business.
  • Stay up-to-date on all product and industry knowledge.
  • Utilize various sales techniques to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and support staff to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process.
  • Continuously seek new sales opportunities, including outreach and marketing initiatives.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, sales, and inventory.
  • Attend and participate in training and development programs to enhance sales and customer service skills.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other sales software.
  • Knowledgeable about current automotive industry trends and products.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
