Job Title: Chief Information Officer, VP of Data

About the Role:

Direct Relief is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Information Officer, VP of Data to lead the development and implementation of its data, technology, and analytics strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and business, with a proven track record of driving digital transformation and delivering business value through data and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data, technology, and analytics strategy that aligns with Direct Relief's business objectives
  • Oversee the management of technology infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency
  • Report to the executive board on performance metrics, project status, and future plans
  • Manage the data, IT, and analytics budget to maximize return on investment
  • Ensure the protection of IT assets, data, and information systems through robust cybersecurity measures
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve business processes and stakeholder experiences
  • Collaborate with executive leaders to integrate technology solutions and data insights that support organizational strategy and growth

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field; MS/MA or MBA preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in administration of information systems and technology, with increasing level of responsibility throughout
  • Proven experience as CIO, CTO, or similar executive role
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP required
  • Strong background in health and health analytics
  • Ability to manage change and adapt to new situations
  • Expertise in data governance and cybersecurity
