Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Human Resources Officer to join our team at Marsh McLennan Agency - National HR Consulting. As a strategic partner, you will play a critical role in shaping our HR function and driving business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with a proven track record of success in areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. You will be responsible for leading the HR team, developing and implementing HR strategies, and ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth and objectives
  • Lead the HR team and provide guidance on HR-related matters
  • Partner with senior leaders to drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement
  • Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance functions
  • Develop and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with division management to design and administer employee onboarding processes
  • Direct the maintenance of employee handbooks and policies
  • Assist in designing and implementing employee benefit plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including compensation, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, employee benefits, and compliance
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP/SCP certification highly desirable
  • Strong business acumen and ability to drive business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and influence a diverse range of professionals
