About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Data Associate to join our Information Data Operations (IDO) team at Amazon Services LLC. As a Machine Learning Data Associate, you will play a critical role in making Alexa smarter and more efficient for our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write high-quality and engaging content for internal and external customers.
  • Understand how people use language to convey meaning and deliver high-quality work under aggressive deadlines.
  • Translate established guidelines into daily work practices and work autonomously with minimal direction.
  • Handle unique data analysis requests from a range of customers and adapt quickly to changing project conventions and new projects.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to support several projects at one time and adapt to changing priorities.
About the Team

The Information Data Operations (IDO) team is a dynamic group of Machine Learning Data Associates and support staff who work together to increase the number of questions Alexa can answer, improve the overall quality of the answers Alexa serves, and provide stakeholders with high-quality data to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Linguistics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail, including precise and effective communications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
