Job Summary

The Trauma PI Coordinator RN is a key member of the Trauma Program team, responsible for coordinating clinical activities and ensuring the efficiency of the program. This role facilitates an interdisciplinary approach to trauma care, participates in data collection and monitoring for performance improvement, and leads concurrent patient review and project management efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical activities of the Trauma Program
  • Ensure efficiency of the program through coordination and facilitation
  • Participate in data collection and monitoring for performance improvement
  • Lead concurrent patient review and project management efforts
  • Maintain knowledge and skills necessary for proficiency in trauma patient care
Requirements
  • 5 years of nursing experience in a related area
  • 3 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department or Trauma setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Registered Nurse licensure required; Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications required within 1 year of hire
Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week; no weekend requirements or call shifts
