Project Manager I Job Description

Overview

The Project Manager I plays a critical role in the success of our construction projects, overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle and ensuring compliance with our established Project Management Methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, monitor, and report project status and performance data to management and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential stakeholder conflicts and facilitate resolution.
  • Manage risks, develop and implement mitigation plans, and communicate risks for both self-performed and subcontracted work.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodology, tools, and approaches using fundamentals of H&M Project Management practices.
  • Train and provide project management guidance to associates and field engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing large-scale projects and knowledge of construction and utility industry practices.
  • Understanding of Critical Path Scheduling software and MS Office Suite.
  • Completion of 3 H&M PMM online training and 7 H&M PMP online courses to earn Master Certificate.
  • Moderately complex problem-solving skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or Business.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
