Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Assistant III to join our team at South East Alaska Regional Health Consortium. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately collect and document patient information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist with patient transportation, ensuring safe and efficient movement within the facility.
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, setting up equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Collect and process specimens, following established protocols for labeling and transportation.
  • Assist with radiology exams and minor office surgeries, as certified and within scope of practice.
  • Provide immunizations and injections as ordered by the provider, maintaining accurate records and following established protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; nursing degree or certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), EMT III, or Paramedic preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred, with knowledge of clinic procedures, medical terminology, and computer applications.
