About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced electronics systems for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to multiple domains effectively and work across disciplines to solve complex problems.
  • Collaborate with scientists, fellow engineers, and industry partners to realize innovative solutions to challenging national security problems.
  • Develop test plans and associated test infrastructure to ensure test strategies meet customer expectations.
  • Clearly communicate ideas, concerns, and solutions to the team, industry partners, customers, and management.
  • Ensure appropriate rigor is applied to achieve systems that meet customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • 6+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on RF validation and verification testing.
  • Experience with RF test methods, RF systems, and RF test equipment.
  • Familiarity with Python and/or MATLAB for data parsing and data visualization.
  • Ability to travel to and work at remote sites in support of test events, meetings, and training activities as required.
  • Hold an Active TS clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active or eligible U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Experience with handling and processing of large signal data sets.
  • Experience with Digital Communications and Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
  • Proficient with test equipment including RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters.
  • Test Automation experience is a plus.
