Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed Systems Engineering cost and timeline estimates for significant design projects, offering technical presentation support to marketing during proposal phases.
  • Design and conduct experiments to assess the operational characteristics of products or processes, translating findings into actionable design criteria.
  • Facilitate System Integration, Verification, and Validation by defining, specifying, and overseeing testing, analysis, and integration efforts. Ensure thorough documentation of results.
  • Contribute to the design review and phase gate processes, ensuring that engineering outputs comply with FDA/ISO standards and requirements.
  • Oversee the formulation of requirements across various engineering disciplines, including Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and Electro-optics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in complex electro-mechanical instrument systems engineering.
  • Experience in hardware/software integration.
  • Availability for daily onsite engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in the medical device sector.
  • Proven development experience in one or more engineering disciplines, including software, mechanical, electrical, optics, and fluidics, with a strong grasp of advanced theories and principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership during the exploration of intricate medical instrumentation products, overseeing the requirement development across multiple engineering fields.
