Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives, helping them to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Community Support: Assist individuals with transportation to appointments, outings, and activities in the community.
  • Daily Living Skills: Assist with daily living skills such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
  • Developmental Goals: Provide guidance and support to individuals in achieving their developmental goals, including community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
  • Living Skills: Support individuals with living skills such as personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Age: Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Experience: Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Background Checks: Successful clearance of background checks
  • Attitude and Approach: Reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
