Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Lead to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a RN Lead, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the day-to-day activities of nursing personnel in patient care units, providing direction to Clinical Staff, implementing work of assigned units, and coordinating activities with other patient care units and related departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care for patients and families.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive and supportive care environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • 2 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting.
  • BLS required.
  • RN License in state of employment or compact.
  • Current PALS certification at time of hire for experienced RNs or completion by the end of the clinical orientation period for new graduate nurses and maintain certification thereafter for ICU units that are exclusively pediatric, or as needed by facility requirements.
  • Current ACLS certification at time of hire for experienced RNs or completion by the end of the clinical orientation period for new graduate nurses and maintain certification thereafter.
