About the RoleAs a Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN Inpatient Rehab, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in our inpatient rehabilitation unit. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, develop and implement patient care plans, and provide education and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services and collaborate with subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, and recommend and implement courses of action to ensure a competitively better organization.
- Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- 1 year of nursing experience.
- Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
