About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records and statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage daily financial activities, including accounting and budgeting, to ensure compliance with established principles and procedures.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure efficient working environments.
  • Prepare and update construction contracts, billing statements, and welcome packages for customers.
  • Prepare year-end 1099s for vendors and maintain insurance liability requirements.
  • Assist accountants with financial data and reports, and follow company safety and security policies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; secondary education in accounting and/or budget management preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an office environment as an Accountant, with advanced computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Builder Trend Platform.
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
