Team Overview


As a subsidiary of Molex, Phillips-Medisize is a comprehensive provider of innovative development and manufacturing solutions tailored for the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and medical device sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance equipment performance, utilization, and output through continuous improvement strategies.
  • Support the installation and configuration of all production automation systems.
  • Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on all automated production equipment.
  • Identify malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic tools.
  • Accurately document repairs utilizing the Maintenance Work Order System.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and encourage innovative thinking among team members.
  • Assess the functionality of fixtures and secondary processes, providing recommendations for modifications or readiness for production.
  • Offer technical support and training for production staff; investigate and resolve production issues; identify root causes and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on all data collection and label printing systems.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to ensure automation responsibilities are met.
  • Assist in optimizing work cell layouts and implementing ergonomic improvements.
  • May require availability for on-call duties during weekends.
Qualifications

To be considered, candidates should possess one or more of the following:
  • An Associate's Degree or Technical certification in an electro-mechanical, electrical, automation, or robotics discipline.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving with robotics or automated processing equipment.
  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following will be at an advantage:
  • Experience in continuous improvement and process facilitation.
  • Knowledge of PLC monitoring and programming.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, CAD, or similar design software.
  • Understanding of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
