Job Title: LPN Intake Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team at New York Health. As an LPN Intake Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update and maintain electronic patient records
  • Record patient information, including vital signs and medical history
  • Clean and prepare examination rooms
  • Work in the front office, answering phone calls and greeting patients
  • Assist in maintaining medical inventory and ordering supplies as needed
  • Measure and record vital signs
  • Record patient interviews, history, and chief complaints
  • Provide patient education on medications, disease management, and special diets
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests
  • Assist physicians with exams
  • Conduct phlebotomy and collect lab specimens
  • Perform basic lab tests and EKGs
Requirements:
  • Current NYS LPN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in a lead role or demonstrated potential to act in a lead capacity
  • Demonstrated professional conduct and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in ONCOemr
