Certified Medical Assistant

Vivo HealthStaff is seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Minnesota. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage customer flow throughout the clinic, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients.
• Assist providers in the management and treatment of patients, including delegated tasks and competencies as described in the Blaze Health Medical Assistant scope of practice.
• Perform clinical and clerical tasks, such as standard rooming processes, giving immunizations, injections, and laboratory specimen collection as needed.
• Provide telephone support, facilitate communication between patients and providers, and assist with prescription refills.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
