Emergency Preparedness Manager

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Health and Safety department, you will be responsible for managing the coordination and implementation of emergency preparedness standards to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors across the entire INTEGRIS Health system.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain emergency plans and procedures for disasters identified in the hazard vulnerability assessment (HVA)/ risk analysis.
- Collaborate with facility leadership to create, develop, educate, train, and implement disaster plans that align with state and other regulatory agencies.
- Manage the activation of individual facility emergency operations plans and hospital command centers as needed.
- Ensure availability of staff 24/7 to respond to disaster or potential disaster situations.
- Develop and prepare reports that fulfill grant contract requirements as outlined by the specific funding stream.
- Represent the organization on various preparedness committees, such as the regional healthcare coalition.
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience required.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Certification as Certified Emergency Manager within 2 years of hire.
- 3 years of experience and/or equivalent education/certification in Emergency Management functions preferred.
- 2 years of experience in dealing with regulatory agencies such as JCAHO, OSHA, DOL, FEMA, NFPA, CDC, EPIC, and other local and state regulatory agencies preferred.
