Position Summary: The Vice President of Consolidation and Reporting for the Studio Group will oversee the financial consolidation and reporting functions within NBCUniversal's Studio Group Segment. This leadership role will also spearhead strategic initiatives in controllership, aligning with the goals established by the CFO and Controller, while nurturing the development of the Controllership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exemplify NBCU's Core Values: Integrity, Creativity, Teamwork, Pioneering Spirit, and Ownership.
  • Establish and enhance a robust Controllership team that delivers top-tier consolidation, reporting, and accounting services.
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly closing processes for the Studio Group Segment, ensuring accurate financial reporting to NBCU Corporate.
  • Collaborate closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis team during the closing process.
  • Lead additional functions, including net distribution accounting and intercompany administration.
  • Identify and implement proactive solutions to mitigate potential risks.
  • Foster strong working relationships with business unit Controllers and CFOs.
  • Mentor and develop Director and Manager level staff through exemplary leadership.
  • Drive improvements in policies, processes, and internal controls.
  • Actively engage with Internal and External audit teams to maintain effective relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven experience managing teams in a global environment.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to interpret and apply accounting standards.
  • Experience with internal controls and accounting processes, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
