Caregiver - Senior Living Assistant

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Build Meaningful Relationships: Develop strong bonds with residents and their families, providing personalized care and attention to their unique needs and preferences.
- Provide Quality Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting their independence and dignity.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Support Resident Engagement: Encourage residents to participate in life-enriching activities, such as exercise programs, hobbies, and social events, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure the community is in compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a culture of safety and risk management.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications may be required in certain states.
- Experience: Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and make decisions in the best interest of residents.
