Job Title: Senior Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Construction Superintendent to join our team at High Development Corporation. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction operations on multiple job sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely completion and adherence to project specifications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Assistant Construction Superintendents and other site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe job site.
  • Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and oversee procurement of materials and equipment to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, providing updates, and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to construction processes, site conditions, and project requirements to minimize delays and disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and compliance records. Prepare and submit reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large and complex projects.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards. Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is required.
