* Process guest check-ins and check-outs, handling room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
* Secure payment and verify billing, activating and filing room keys as needed
* Process guest requests and relay messages, printing contingency lists for emergency situations
* Identify and explain room features to guests, providing directions and information on property amenities and services
* Follow up on outstanding requests or problems from the previous day and resolve them
* Run and review daily reports and logs, completing designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system
* Accept and record wake-up call requests and deliver them to the appropriate department
* Count bank at the beginning and end of shift, securing the bank as needed
* Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges, providing change as necessary
* Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft

Requirements:

* Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
* Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, protecting company assets
* Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs
* Assist individuals with disabilities, thanking guests with genuine appreciation
* Speak with others using clear and professional language, answering telephones with appropriate etiquette
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals
* Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
* Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
