Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Guest Support Representative to join our team at The Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport. As a key member of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and confirm guest check-ins and check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations.
  • Secure payment and verify billing information.
  • Activate and file room keys.
  • Process guest requests and relay messages.
  • Print contingency lists for emergency situations.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests.
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation.
  • Follow up on outstanding requests or problems from the previous day.
  • Run and review daily reports/logs.
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Accept and record wake-up call requests and deliver to the appropriate department.
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift and secure bank.
  • Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
