This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Member Services Representative at 4Front Credit Union. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, answering their questions, and resolving any issues they may have.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Service: Provide exceptional service to members, answering their questions and resolving any issues they may have.
  • Financial Services: Perform a variety of financial services, including opening and closing accounts, renewing certificate accounts, and assisting members with account reconciliation problems.
  • Account Maintenance: Assist members with account maintenance, including answering questions and solving problems.
  • Cross-Selling: Cross-sell services and perform related functions as required.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
  • Presents and Explains: Presents and explains Credit Union services and products to members and assists in meeting their financial needs.
  • Answers and Solves: Answers questions and solves problems for members by listening to problems, collecting data, securing answers, and reporting results to the inquiring party.
  • Renews and Updates: Renews and updates certificate accounts.
  • Receives and Directs: Receives and directs members and telephone calls, responds to inquiries and questions, or directs them as necessary.
  • File Maintenance: Performs file maintenance and account changes as needed.
  • IRA Expertise: Answers questions regarding IRAs.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Financial Knowledge: Good understanding of financial services and products provided.
  • Account Reconciliation: Understanding of member account reconciliation procedures.
Skills and Abilities
  • Communication: Excellent communication and public relations skills.
  • Professionalism: Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
  • Math and Analytical: Solid math and analytical skills.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Sitting and standing.
  • Physical Effort: Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally.
  • Work Environment: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions.
Mental Activities and Requirements
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions.
  • Variable Problems: Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables.
  • Math Skills: Ability to perform basic math skills, use decimals to compute ratios and percents.
