Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, onboard, and inspire qualified diesel technicians.
  • Support technicians in enhancing their skills alongside the Service Manager.
  • Organize repair tasks and allocate technicians to mechanical segments that align with their expertise to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Ensure equitable distribution of repair assignments among mechanics.
  • Provide technical assistance to mechanics as needed.
  • Monitor the progress of each repair order throughout the day.
  • Maintain high standards of repair quality and minimize repeat work. Conduct regular checks on completed jobs for thoroughness and quality assurance.
  • Perform road tests on vehicles to validate the quality of work completed.
  • Track daily productivity reports of mechanics and corresponding payroll records.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A minimum of two years of relevant supervisory experience in a shop environment.
  • Valid commercial driver's license and insurability with the company's carrier.
  • Completion of ASE Master Certification program; Diamond Certification Program; or other relevant manufacturer certifications.

Compensation:

Minimum Pay Rate: USD $60,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay Rate: USD $75,000.00/Yr.
