Key Responsibilities
  • Adheres to safety protocols and complies with both company and regulatory standards.
  • Capable of operating or assisting in the operation of all heating and ventilation systems, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, fans, and siphons at the assigned location.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to undertake all assigned tasks.
  • Responsible for collaborating with both internal and external clients on technical challenges, work scope recommendations, and failure analysis.
  • May work across various engineering departments based on current requirements.
Essential Duties
  • Provides engineering assistance for a diverse array of systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational engineering tasks.
  • Must possess the ability to comprehend, analyze, and devise solutions for the design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of vehicles/equipment and their components.
  • Should approach problem-solving logically, define a maintenance strategy or configuration, and ensure safe and compliant operations.
  • Reviews Service Bulletins (SBs) issued by manufacturers or component manufacturers.
  • Develops solutions and implementation strategies, project justifications, cost/benefit analyses, and overall management of project execution while coordinating warranty recovery on applicable SBs.
  • Organizes and prioritizes assigned responsibilities to meet all deliverables for projects, maintenance program modifications, and technical specification updates.
  • Coordinates efforts with other operational teams to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of engineering experience.
  • Engineering skill sets applicable to a variety of systems, maintenance programs, and engines.
  • For service engineering roles, these technical skills are directed towards operational challenges rather than project-specific tasks.
  • Ability to analyze intricate technical issues and manage projects for regulatory compliance modifications.
  • Strong verbal and technical writing skills are essential.
