We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Prescott Valley, AZ. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for our patients, residents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas
- Empty waste baskets, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
- Apply knowledge of housekeeping processes, tools, and techniques in a healthcare environment
- Wear proper protective equipment and follow guidelines
- Keep storage, equipment, and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful
- Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods, and cleaning chemicals is helpful
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are required
